Very nice analysis. I knew nothing of this car until now. I am always interested in other electric car experiments. I have only one nit: Tesla does not manufacture an engine. An engine is a complex mechanism that converts a liquid or solid (gasoline or wood) into energy and then motion. That’s what makes the Tesla special: it uses a motor and not an engine. We would hope to entirely dispense with the engine in the near future.
