There is something deeply sad about the ongoing Republican project to repeatedly rejuvenate a seemingly endless store of authoritarian dupes in support of their ongoing late-stage-capitalist welfare project. From the Contract with America to the Tea Party movement to Trump’s resurrection of MAGA to Wokeism, the gullible rubes are repeatedly incited to anger and violence by their cynical parent figures. Regardless the amount of culpability you may place in the dupes, it remains that the Republican Organization is taking advantage of them. Without incitement, they would be simple anonymous housewives, plumbers, baristas and salespeople. Because of the ongoing Republican project, they are at worst jailed, and at best looking very foolish to every rational YouTube viewer.
You’ve heard the meme; and, you know that many Republican dupes justify their votes against their own actual health and welfare through the simple satisfaction of believing that their actions make liberals cry.
