There is only one way to debate a liar.

Many months ago my spouse and I were wondering if the Democrats would be stupid enough to participate in a debate with Donald Trump. To agree to such a debate would be the act of an imbecile on quaaludes. While Biden would have to rapidly summon up facts, his opponent would simply be making stuff up. A lie is not an argument. It is completely free of intellectual content and, as we have been told by Karl Popper, an argument that has no intellectual content cannot be refuted. He called such an argument irrefutable not because it was true but because it was not even wrong. No one can win a debate against a liar. What the truth-teller says will simply be denied by the liar and what the liar says cannot be refuted.

When Joe Biden himself demanded a debate, we were flabbergasted. Was he the imbecile or some very persuasive advisor on quaaludes? There was no telling and yet, there it was: Joe Biden called up Trump and politely asked for a royal pounding. When President Biden arrived, he was clearly not in top form to begin with. Some say he was ill and that is possible but the true loss, the true utter failure was when the Biden campaign came up with this lunkhead stunt. Neil deGrasse Tyson couldn’t win a debate with Donald Trump!
